Requirements
A secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Admission is also possible without a qualification, provided the nursing school gives a positive assessment.
Good health, reliability and B2-level German language skills.
Structure of Training
1,050 hours of theory & practical classes
at the state-approved nursing college, the Pflegefachschule Hannover.
1,280 hours of practical training
Three compulsory placements in a hospital, a residential care home, and an outpatient care service.
Practical Training & Support
You will receive guidance and support throughout every work placement.
At least 10% of your working hours will be spent under the guidance of specially trained practical instructors.
This is underpinned by our joint practical training curriculum, developed by the school and the training company – ensuring that theory and practice are perfectly aligned.
Your Qualification
The training programme concludes with a state examination, comprising:
a written exam
a practical exam
an oral exam
