Qualification as a carer in accordance with Section 53b SGB XI enables you to provide empathetic and holistic care for elderly people in an inpatient setting.

The new version of the directive in accordance with Section 53b SGB XI dated 21 October 2022 is taken into account.
The 9-week part-time qualification as a carer in accordance with § 53b comprises a total of 162 teaching hours and 80 internship hours. The course is organised as follows:
1. Introduction day
2. Orientation internship
(two weeks with 40 hours)
3. Theory block 1
(114 teaching hours)
4. Internship
(two weeks with 40 hours)
5. Theory block 2
(42 teachings hours)
Lesson times are from 8.00 am to 1.20 pm. The working hours during the internship are determined individually.

Payment in instalments (three instalments of €346.14 each) can be arranged.
Funding from the Federal Employment Agency (education voucher) is possible.
After successful participation you will receive a certificate
“Carer according to § 53b”.
The qualification measure fulfils the
requirements according to § 53b SGB XI.
